Happy to hear GECOM Chairman making his organization's position clear as it relates to local government elections. At a press conference held on Wednesday at the Georgetown Chamber's boardroom I had told the media to enquire from Chairman Surujbally about his entity's readiness for local or national elections after telling me on two formal occasions that GECOM was ready for elections once policy makers make the necessary declaration.
